Building Skills. Building Community. Serving Veterans.
The Hearth & Grain Foundation is a nonprofit initiative of Hearth & Grain Woodworks, dedicated to empowering veterans through woodworking and cabinetry training.
Our mission is to empower veterans in Arkansas by providing hands-on training in woodworking and cabinetry, while giving back through projects that directly benefit fellow veterans and veteran organizations.
Our vision is a community where veterans thrive in civilian life through craftsmanship, purpose, and connection.
Veteran Build Month
Inaugural Session October, 2026
Every October, Hearth & Grain Woodworks pauses its for-profit operations so the Hearth & Grain Foundation can host a month-long immersive training program for veterans.
Participants receive housing, meals, and woodworking education while completing a major cabinetry service project that’s donated to a veteran or veteran organization in Saline County.
